Tara is a Partner with Kachwaha & Partners, New Delhi, India. Ms. Shahani has over 16 years’ standing, specializing in construction and infrastructure disputes. She has been involved in several high-stake multi-million dollar cross-border international commercial arbitrations. She also handles white collar crimes and tax matters for domestic and international clients.

Ms. Shahani features in the ‘Up & Coming’ section of the Chambers Asia Pacific 2026, ‘Dispute Resolution: Arbitration’ category. She has also been recognised by the Indian Business Law Journal in the category of ‘India’s Future Legal Leaders’ in 2024.

She has been associated with IPBA for a few years and is now Vice Chair of the Scholarship Committee until 2027.
