Shubhangi Garg is a Partner at the Firm and specialises in Banking and Finance, Capital Markets and FinTech.
She has extensive experience in advising issuers and banks on Reg S/144A bonds, GMTNs / MTN programmes, syndicated loans, foreign currency financing and convertible loans, sponsor backed finance, acquisition finance and corporate finance for both listed and unlisted Indian companies, debt investments by foreign portfolio investors via listed and unlisted NCDs, and debt finance by InvITs and REITs. She also has extensive experience in advising on private equity and foreign direct investment in the FinTech and payments space and routinely advises Indian and international corporates on the regulatory framework governing digital payment products and lending products in India.
Shubhangi was recognised as one of India’s top 40 lawyers by Business World’s BW Legal World 40 Under 40 Awards in 2020, as India’s Rising Star in the Banking and Finance Space by Asian Legal Business, 2019. She has been recognised as a ‘Notable Practitioner’ in Banking & Finance and Debt Capital Markets by IFLR1000 in 2022 and 2024-25.
