Min Gon Kim is a Partner in Demarest’s M&A and Corporate practice area, where he leads the firm’s Korean/Asian Desk. He focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, joint ventures, cross-border transactions, and corporate restructuring, advising Brazilian and international clients across a wide range of industries.
Min earned his LL.M. from Columbia Law School, a postgraduate degree in Corporate Law from Fundação Getulio Vargas, and his law degree from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie. His international experience includes stints as a foreign associate at Holland & Knight LLP (Miami), Kim & Chang (Seoul), and Carey Abogados (Santiago, Chile).
Since 2012, Min has been consistently recognized by Chambers Global as a leading lawyer in Corporate Law and M&A, as well as a foreign expert in Brazil in these practice areas.
