Jeonghye Sophie Ahn is a Co-Head of the International Dispute Resolution Team at Yulchon LLC and focuses on international arbitration, international litigation, and international trade matters. In recognition of Sophie’s expertise in international arbitration, she has received individual rankings from leading legal directories, including Chambers and The Legal 500. As both arbitrator and counsel, she has handled a broad range of international arbitration matters, including investor-State disputes (ISDS), joint venture disputes, intellectual property disputes, and disputes in the media, telecommunications, and construction sectors. In addition, Sophie has represented numerous overseas clients in litigation before Korean courts, including matters involving the enforcement of foreign arbitral awards and foreign judgments, as well as other complex commercial disputes. Furthermore, Sophie is actively engaged in international trade practice, representing and advising the Korean government and corporations in a wide range of areas, including anti-dumping, subsidies, and export controls.
