Matt Takeshi Komatsu is a Managing Partner at Mori Hamada & Matsumoto (Singapore) LLP. He focuses his practice on cross-border M&A, formation of joint ventures and corporate law across Asia. After studying in the US, he was seconded to the Civil Affairs Bureau of the Ministry of Justice, where he worked on amendments to the Companies Act of Japan and researched corporate law in various jurisdictions. He has been advising various Private Equity Funds for their acquisitions across Asia and also has experiences to negotiate deals with Private Equity Funds being the counterparties
