Alessandra Nascimento Silva e Figueiredo Mourão

Founding and managing partner of Nascimento e Mourão Advogados based in São Paulo, she is former president of the Professional Ethics Committee of the International Bar Association and at present member of its Section on Public and Professional Interest Council. Professor of Negotiation for Lawyers at Fundação Getúlio Vargas Law School (Brazil) and guest lecturer for the Portuguese Catholic University – Lisbon. Law Degree from the Law School of the University of São Paulo (Brazil) where she also obtained her post-graduation degree. Specialist in Negotiations by the PIL (Harvard Law School and Harvard Business School). She has just started her term as VP of the Legal Practice Committee at the Inter-Pacific Bar Association.
With articles published in local newspapers and plataforms, she is co-author of the book “Conflict Resolution: Fundamentals of Negotiation for the Legal Environment” and author of “Negotiation Techniques for Lawyers “. Jonathan Lai has practiced law for over 30 years and has been the Managing Partner of the Hawaii law firm Watanabe Ing since 2020. Jonathan graduated with a J.D./M.B.A. from the University of Southern California and his practice focuses on creditors’ rights, business law, bankruptcy, real estate and commercial litigation. He represents many financial institutions ranging from international syndicates of lenders, national banks and federal credit unions in commercial and residential foreclosures and bankruptcies. Jonathan has served as the Chairperson for the Hawaii Community Development Authority, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hawaii Foundation, the Bankruptcy Section and the Business Law Section of the Hawaii State Bar Association. Between 2018 and 2020 Pablo worked as an international associate in the New York office of Willkie Farr. Pallavi Tayal Chadda

Ms. Tayal is an Associate Partner at KNM & Partners Law Offices and is part of the Dispute Resolution Team at the Delhi office. She is an arguing counsel and primarily practices in Commercial Litigation, Arbitration and Matrimonial laws. She joined the Firm in 2018 and has been practicing before all Fora’s since then. With more than 16 years of professional experience, she has advised several clients, both in the public and private sector, on general commercial litigation including strategy and conflict advisory in potential dispute situations. She has worked for State of Punjab in its Original Suit against State of Haryana before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in relation to electricity and water disputes. She has represented a PSU in an Arbitration, wherein the quantum claimed of twenty-five thousand crores, against the PSU was negated by the Tribunal.
Ms. Tayal has handled commercial litigations before several High Courts in India (particularly New Delhi, Punjab and Haryana and Kolkata), and being an Advocate on Record has experience of handling complex matters before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India. She also conducts trials in various Domestic Arbitrations and often appears as counsel in the matters for the clients of the Firm. She is empanelled with several public sector undertakings and private companies.
