Vyapak Desai is currently a Counsel/Arbitrator at Vyapak Desai Law Chambers, a position he has held since August 2025. Prior to this, he was the Head, Int’l Disputes and Investigations Practice at Nishith Desai Associates from June 2005 to July 2025. His professional experience began as an Advocate at Singhi& Co. from August 2000 to May 2005.

Vyapak represents clients in a wide-range of services with a special focus on cutting edge cross-border and complex litigations, investment treaty disputes and international commercial arbitrations. In the past, Vyapak has led the Capital Markets Practice as part of Corporate Transactions (M&A/PE) Practice at Nishith Desai Associates.

He is a leading attorney in the advisement and representation of clients involved in technology, healthcare and pharma, media, entertainment, franchising, oil and gas, insurance and financial services sectors for pragmatic and effective pre-litigation strategies, arbitrations and litigations before various forums including the Supreme Court, High Courts and Tribunals (SAT, NCLT, FEMA etc) of India. He has represented and advised clients in investment treaty arbitrations and before international arbitration centres such as the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC), International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), and International Centre for Dispute Resolution (ICDR- AAA) amongst others. He acts as an arbitrator and is also a trained mediator.

Paul Sandosham, heads the Energy, Infrastructure and Resources (Disputes) practice for Southeast Asia and co-leads the firm’s global contentious construction initiatives. He focuses on dispute resolution (litigation, mediation & international commercial arbitration) in the energy, power, renewables, oil & gas, infrastructure, construction, engineering, rail, transport, utilities, natural resources, international trade, insurance, joint ventures and commodities sectors. He is concurrently the Managing Partner of Cavenagh Law LLP, Clifford Chance’s formal law alliance partner in Singapore.
Paul acts as lead counsel in courts and international arbitration proceedings (under ICC, SIAC, DIAC, ADCCAC, UNCITRAL, LCIA, BANI, ICSID etc. Rules) for various parties in disputes arising out of complex cross-border investments and projects. Chelsea Pollard is an associate in the dispute resolution practice, focusing on international arbitration, cross-border litigation, investigations, and dispute avoidance. She has particular knowledge of international arbitration and has been involved in advising and representing clients in various sectors, including construction, energy, hospitality, healthcare, consumer goods, aviation, and finance. Chelsea is qualified to practice in California.

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Chelsea worked as an associate at one of the largest regional law firms in the Middle East and at an arbitral institution in Malaysia, where she was part of the standard form of building contracts team. During her time at the arbitral institution, she was involved in drafting arbitration rules, standard forms of building contracts, and standard forms of software development contracts and participated in a number of speaking engagements.

Chelsea is involved in a number of organizations, having been a past co-chair of the American Society of International Law, New Professionals Interest Group social media co-chair of the ABA’s Women in Dispute Resolution section, and a facilitator for the Young ITA Mentoring Program.

Jonathan Ellis is a partner at HKA and has spent over a decade in Asia. He specialises in the quantification of damages and regularly opines on the damages relating to infrastructure projects. He has worked on matters before the UK and Singapore High Courts as well as in ad hoc, SIAC, LCIA, ICC, HKIAC, UNCITRAL and ICSID arbitration forums. He has provided oral testimony, in both court and arbitration, and has been engaged as a tribunal appointed expert. Since 2017, Jonathan has been recognised among the leading arbitration expert witnesses worldwide by Who’s Who Legal, where he has been classified as a “Global Elite Thought Leader”.

Amit is a Partner and leads the Dispute and Litigation Advisory Services and Anti-Trust Services within the Deloitte’s Forensic & Financial Crime practice in India. Amit also leads the Infrastructure sector within the Deloitte’s Forensic & Financial crime practice in India.
Amit has an overall experience of over three decades covering various sectors. Amit has led over 100 engagements in commercial disputes that were under international/domestic arbitrations/ out of court settlement covering contract terminations, representation to regulatory authorities and computation of damages, computation of claims for loss of profits, strategy to mitigate counter party claims and contract terminations/ renegotiations. He has been cross examined in over 20 matters covering both domestic and international arbitrations. Further, he has led over 200 engagements covering probing allegations of inappropriate award of contract, fraudulent transactions, improprieties of conduct in business operations, financial mis-reporting, allegations of corruption and supply chain assessments.

Amit is a regular speaker in professional forums and has delivered lectures and authored articles covering aspects like strategic risk management, managing frauds in business, contract management to mitigate risk of disputes and regulatory challenges to business growth.
