Jurisdictional updates

Competition Law or Antitrust Law is a national law of a nation state but has cross-border sweep. Thus, cooperation amongst nations and their practicing professionals have become unavoidable. The dynamics of markets have been changing faster than ever as digital, data and technology spaces have taken centrestage of doing business faster and in a more transparent manner.
Competition Agencies have a unique collaborative platform called the International Competition Network (ICN). The ICN also encourages collaboration between Competition Agencies and practicing legal fraternities via Non-Governmental Advisers (NGAs). Thus, constant cooperation and collaboration are the important tools to enhance the domain expertise of competition law and help stakeholders reaping the benefits of the law through multiple convergence methods. The practicing legal professionals have additional opportunities of engagement via many Global Bar Associations to interact with and share thoughts of their respective jurisdictions. Inter Pacific Bar Association (IPBA) is one of the important bar associations which help share knowledge amongst IPBA Members through various conferences.
The Annual Conference of the IPBA of New Delhi is yet another opportunity for the members of the IPBA to come together and share thoughts via interactive manner for greater good to the entire membership fraternity of the IPBA.
The IPBA Annual Conference scheduled to be held in New Delhi from 26 February to 28 February 2026 has once again given an opportunity to the IPBA Competition Law Committee Members to converge and share jurisdictional updates via panel speakers in an interactive manner. This year the panel will comprise the jurisdictional updates of the USA, Singapore, Brazil, Chile, EU and India.
