Attorney Rong LIU graduated from the Swansea University obtained her master’s degree in international maritime Law. She serves as the Director of Beijing Globe-Law Dalian Law Firm. She has been selected as one of the Legal Talents Scheme in Foreign-related Business launched by All China Lawyers Association and the Ministry of Justice of the People’s Republic of China in 2013. She serves as the Arbitrator of the China Maritime Arbitration Commission, Arbitrator of Shanghai Arbitration Commission, Arbitrator of Dalian Arbitration Commission, Member of the Singapore International Mediation Centre Specialist Mediator Panel (China).
Attorney Rong LIU has been delving into the field of maritime affairs over the past 19 years, and especially good at international trade, domestic and foreign investment, international arbitration, and complex commercial dispute resolution. She has represented ship-owner companies, port companies, shipyards and insurance companies and handled numerous maritime disputes such as marine insurance, ship collision, ship repair and building, carriage of goods, freight forwarding, oil pollution and charter party cases etc. She also works as a legal counsel in international trade companies, state-owned companies. In the practice of legal services, Attorney Rong LIU has accumulated rich experience in problem analysis and problem solving. She is good at helping clients sort out complex legal relationships and propose constructive and practical solutions and litigation or arbitration strategies on the focal issues of disputes.
