As a partner at Szecskay Attorneys at Law, an independent Hungarian firm serving clients worldwide since 2007, Orsolya co-leads the corporate M&A team. Her expertise centers on international transactions, mergers and acquisitions, as well as corporate and commercial law. She regularly assists clients with cross-border cases. Additionally, Orsolya is active as a business mediator and holds a degree in organizational development and supervision/coaching.
She served as President of AIJA, the International Association of Young Lawyers, during 2015–2016—the only worldwide association for lawyers aged 45 and under. In 2016, she led AIJA’s team in the joint CCBE/AIJA survey project examining the future of the legal profession. From 2017 to 2020, Orsolya held the position of Vice-President of the Skills, Career, Innovation, Leadership and Learning (SCILL) Commission of AIJA. She is a board member of the German Bar Association’s International Business Law Group (DAV-IWR) and has served as elected Secretary of the Budapest Bar Association, overseeing foreign affairs since 2018.
