Agile Contracting in Construction and its Benefits in Reducing Construction Time, Improving Communication and Collaboration, Minimizing waste, Increasing Customer Satisfaction and Promoting Better Risk Management

As governmental and private initiatives around the world, such as the review of international and national standard forms, the establishment of Building Information Modelling (BIM) Labs, and the introduction of Industrialized Building System (IBS) payment models, are paving the way for a new era of digitalized construction, contracting frameworks that once served us well are now struggling to meet the demands of this evolving landscape.

“Agile Contracting” – a flexible and collaborative approach that embraces iterative delivery, shared risk, and real-time adjustments to better align with today’s dynamic project environments. Is that the solution?

This session will dive into how “Agile Contracting” can revolutionize project delivery by reducing waste, minimizing disputes, and strengthening collaboration.

Delegates attending this session will also hear from the speakers, amongst others, the following:

  • Real-world examples of “Agile Contracting” in action – what worked and what didn’t
  • Key legal updates every construction professional should know
  • How to integrate Agile principles into existing contract frameworks
  • Practical tips for reducing legal risk while boosting project performance
